The seat backs are unpainted plastic which did not match well enough for me. In fact, I had a desire not to leave any of the interior plain unpainted black. I spent a lot of time searching for a black paint that would look like leather. Gloss black is wrong, and flat black is too monotonous with the exterior. I finally found a rubberized paint which is perfect.
In this picture, I've masked the prepainted orange headrest backs so I can spray the rest.
