The engine block is screwed together. At this stage it looks VERY unlike an engine block because there are no cyliners, piston, or crankshaft that you would expect to see at this time. It is interesting that the model contains a lot of external engine detail even though none of it can be seen when the model is complete, but the same strategy was not applied to the inside of the engine.
