I wanted to mimic the box art so I went with classic TS-49 Bright
Red. The stickers are all right off the box art as well.
This was the first drive figure I had ever painted and I can't say I did
a very good job. His eyes are particularly disturbing.
Don't look into them. Other than that it came out
beautiful. If you happen to do any wheelies or jumps the
rear license plate is liable to get knocked off which has happened to me
several times.
So a monster truck based on a Volkswagen Beetle is just some craziness from Tamiya and not a real thing, right? Nope.
